What is courage? How do you find and retain courage? Basically, just post your ideas. This is meant to go deep, so be honest.

Dude, off the top of my head I think courage is being brave enough to stand for something even in the face of adversity. In other words, it's like standing up for what is right, even when you know some people don't agree and they might try to stop you. My courage comes from knowing my value. I am valuable enough to God that he let Jesus die in my place. Now my value comes from taking up my cross and following him. What do the rest of you guys think? - Thom

I'd have to agree with Thom, but I also have my own ideas.
Such as: being able to obey your parents and not worry what would happen to your "social status." I've been struggling with that one because of the whole "dating" thing. Sorry about the off topicness. Have a good day!
